Hofstra's program is designed to provide students the opportunity to earn both BS and MS degrees in Physician Assistant Studies.

Post Baccalaureate students complete the professional phase of the program only. Hofstra’s PA Program incorporates a unique clinically focused cadaver lab. Freshman dual-degree students first complete the pre-professional phase, consisting of three years of collegiate instruction including all prerequisite courses, followed by the 2 ½ year graduate (professional phase) of the curriculum. Undergraduate students first complete the pre-professional phase, consisting of three years of collegiate instruction including all prerequisite courses.
Hofstra’s program is designed for both graduate and first-year dual-degree undergraduate students and provides undergraduates the opportunity to earn both the BS and the MS in Physician Assistant Studies, as well as provide graduate instruction and an MS degree to post-baccalaureate students who complete all requirements. Students enrolled in the Direct Entry PA Program (beginning with the freshman class entering Hofstra in the Fall of 2015) will be charged the standard undergraduate tuitionuntil a bachelor of science degree is earned. Once the degree is granted, students will be charged the standard graduate tuition. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to sit for the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE). Enter the Physician Assistant Studies program at Hofstra University and you can complete the MS in Physician Assistant Studies in just 2 ½ years.
